TILT-LOCK Pneumatic Tip-Lifts

Tilt-Lock offers several models of Tip Lifts. Tip Lifts are furnished with either electric or pneumatic power. All units feature ergonomically designed handle mounted controls for combined control of the hoist and the Tip Lift. The controls are designed for ease of operation and operator control and safety.

The spring loaded Tip Lift probe is easily inserted into the core of material. Four gravity activated teeth on the end of the probe grip the core firmly.

This patented probe design assures that the load cannot be disengaged from the probe while the load is suspended in the air. With the probe inserted into the roll, it may be rotated 90 degrees and moved to the required location. When the roll has been placed on a stationary support, the teeth of the probe may be retracted using either a manual release handle or by activating the pneumatic release feature.

Tilt-Lock L1 Pneumatic Tip Lift

The Tilt Lock Model L1 Tip Lift is designed to handle rolls of paper up to 1,260 pounds. The L1 model utilizes handle mounted controls combining hoist and tip lift functions at the operators finger tips. The controls also integrate an interlock feature that requires the operator to have both hands in the correct position on the controls preventing accidental hand placement. The Model L1 weighs 150 pounds. Tip Lift power requirement is 115-1-60 and 90 psi. Minimum 3" wide roll is required for probes to work properly. Tip Lift is supplied with a quick release pin for interchanging probes to accommodate 3" to 12" diameter cores. Tilt-lock recommends using electric chain hoists with 115-1-60 power supply and a lifting speed of 16 fpm.

Tilt-Lock L2 Pneumatic Tip Lift

The Tilt Lock Model L1 Tip Lift is designed to handle rolls of paper up to 2,000 pounds. The L2 model utilizes handle mounted controls combining hoist and tip lift functions at the operators finger tips. The controls also integrate an interlock feature that requires the operator to have both hands in the correct position on the controls preventing accidental hand placement. The Model L2 weighs 185 pounds. Tip Lift power requirement is 115-1-60 and 90 psi. Minimum 3" wide roll is required for probes to work properly. Tip Lift is supplied with a quick release pin for interchanging probes to accommodate 3" to 12" diameter cores. Tilt-lock recommends using electric chain hoists with 115-1-60 power supply and a lifting speed of 16 fpm.
